This paper discusses and explores implementation options for ETS2 in the context of Czechia.

Outlined are three recommendations to ensure carbon pricing of housing and transportation sectors leads to decarbonisation:

1. Implement ETS2 without delay
2. Utilising revenues for measures with both environmental and social benefits
3. Transparency and public participation
